Some examples of what information that may be important to find out during an inspection and positioning of a sea cable.

• What does the seabed look like?

• In what condition is the sea cable?

• What is the position of the sea cable?

• Are there other cable routes on the seabed that cross this lake cable?

• Does the cable go over large rocks?

• Does the cable hang over a deepening on the seabed?

• Does the cable lie in an arc over the seabed?
