We welcome Veiligheidsregio Utrecht (Utrecht Safety Region) as a new customer to BUVI Scandinavia.
“After a careful purchasing process, the Utrecht Safety Region (Veiligheidsregio Utrecht ) will purchase 2 ROV systems from BUVI Scandinavia in the context of the application of underwater robotics.
This choice was made within a constructive purchasing collaboration with the safety regions of IJsselland, Flevoland and Gooi- en Vechtstreek. With the 2 Oceanbotics SRV-8 ROV systems - equipped with sonar and video - we as a Safety Region will further shape this underwater technology within the next two years with an innovation team of 10 operators within the repressive water accident response.
There is still much to discover and learn in this 'underwater world' unknown to the fire brigade. Very excited to incorporate this new underwater technology into the WW2.0 deployment tactics. Special thanks to VRU colleagues Petra Nowee and Marijn Boumans who dared to embark on this purchasing adventure with me, Subsea Fundamentals for the technical support and not to forget the brave IVK intern Niels van der Velde who dared to complete a large part of his graduation assignments. to carry out this project.
